Key Person

key person works with a small number of children and is responsible for helping the child settle in and giving them the reassurance to feel safe and cared for within the setting.

All key persons meet the needs of each child in their care providing a familiar caring adult for the child and the child’s parents. When children feel happy and secure they are more confident and will try new things.
Staff have an excellent understanding of safeguarding and clearly understand their role in protecting children. They are also highly skilled in supporting children with additional needs.
Here at Westside Day Nurseries we have a team of highly motivated and dedicated staff who have the child’s best interests and needs at heart.
